Have you ever wanted to do something good for yourself while doing something gracious for someone else? Here is your chance. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Club is now recruiting people interested in walking or running a full or half marathon. Most anyone can do it, and we offer the training that will help you! No experience is needed! We are having an information meeting on Monday, July 28 at Bacal Rec Center at 6:00 PM. Anyone who is interested in doing the Walt Disney World Marathon/Half Marathon or the PF Chang's Rock & Roll Marathon is encouraged to attend this meeting. I you are interested, but can not attend, please contact me (Barb) at 350-2511 or Jen at 250-3431. Crissy Branch, from the Central Florida Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be there to explain everything. We are also looking for support volunteers! We have several fund raisers planned, including a night golf outing and a pancake breakfast at Up the Creek. We have lots of fun, and we would love to see many of you there. This is a great group!!
