Charming little downtown, replete with cafes, shops, and restaurants. Stayed right in the heart at Hampton Inn for $99 a night for a room with two queen beds. Under three hour drive.

Have friends that live there and we enjoy spending a couple days with them. There is a great shrimp festival every year, good food, great stores and good music.

Love this area. Beach, quaint town. Took both the boat tour and the trolley tour and both were interesting, Keep going back for the atmosphere and relaxation.

On Amelia Island, north of Jacksonville. Been there . . . nice.
