Mothers' Day Orchid

I've patiently baby'd this orchid along for two years, and it FINALLY bloomed today "Mothers' Day".

Your orchid is beautiful. Love the color. We have a few orchids too so we know how proud you must be. We were fortunate to have several of ours bloom this year. They seem to like Florida.

Now that I finally "tamed" the thing, I hope to see more flowers, Jimnc :)

I am not so much a flower person, but I love the picture! I kept looking around at various aspects and really enjoyed the detail.

Thanks, AJBrown. I sprinkled a few drops of water on the petals, and shot the frame against a black curtain, for dramatic effect :)

Now you will hooked on orchids. I have about a dozen and love it when they rebloom for me! Right now I am getting a new baby orchid growing under the blooms. Can't wait until it's big enough to transplant!
