Ask questions' I bought 3 major appliances from Lowes. They could not wait to sell me this w package. They don't t tell u that if you have a problem u have to use their repairmen from their list. 2 of 3 repairmen told us that our ref was working fine that 43 to 48 was the optimal temp for food storage. After requesting a third opinion, I was told that I would have to start paying for service calls. The whirlpool ref was only 7 months old. The third repairman found major faults and deemed the unit un repairable. We called the warr. People with Lowes and told they would contact us that was Fri today is Sunday. After throwing away most of the food from the freezer and ref we have contacted the warr people and have been advised that we need receipts for the food, were not in the habit of keeping receipts for fresh and food we keep in our new ref. Lowes store has been no help, ward people no help,whirlpool no help.by the way pull up whirlpool l ref complaints before u buy. Lowes has lost me but I doubt any other store is any better. What a shame made in China might not b so bad after all.
