IPad Question

My IPad no longer has sound for games, UTube or otherwise. Don't know what I did but can't get the sound to work. I microphone is all the way up and yet no sound. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting the sound to work?

Sometimes I've bumped the switch on the side above the volume controls to off......and have spend 5 minutes trying to figure out why I have no sound. It could be that or go into settings under sounds and slide the volume control to the left then right.

try going into your settings.. go to general. Should find sounds listed in the menu

Have you tried to reboot ( shut off and turn back on) ... I used to never shut off my ipad or I phone.. and they would periodically freeze up, but once I shut it off once or twice a wk., all is good..

Check settings/Bluetooth- if on, see if it is connected to any device, if yes, that is where your sound is going. Simply turn Bluetooth to off position and sound will return to iPad speaker. If this doesn't do it, try a hard reset- hold on/off button and button on front of screen in down position until iPad shuts off. Wait a few seconds then turn back on.

Pressing the VOLUME DOWN button very low --- MUTES the iPad. Pressing UP will take it out of MUTE mode.
