I have dry eye syndrome and I am allergic to Restasis. I take Fish Oil from Sam's Club to help my dry eyes. It works!

Look into krill oil - I don't get the fishy after taste I get with fish oils. Same benefits.

My golfing MD friend just told me if you take a statin for cholesterol there's no need to take fish oil which he said is not proven to work.

Thanks. It's on its way from Amazon. I hope it helps my dry eye syndrome. According to my reading about it, it should.

One out of 7 people suffer from long lasting constipation. Did you know that constipation could cause a person to have high cholesterol? Did your doctor ever tell you that?

If I had high cholesterol, I would certainly try fish oil before resorting to a statin. Why go on a prescription drug with possible side effects if something more natural would work?It would only take a few months to determine if it works.

From what I've read, doctors training all thru school and residency amounts to about a couple hours on nutrition and the science on this changes almost monthly. Their training is towards treating not preventing disease.
I love pickles but all that salt would put my blood pressure up.
