View Full Version : Just saw The Million Dollar Quartet....
at The Sharon. What a great show and what a great venue! We had no trouble finding a parking space, nor did we have any trouble with traffic when we left.
Try it, you'll like it...:BigApplause:

My husband went, I wasn't feeling good so he took one of our friends and they both raved about the performance as well as The Sharon. He said parking no problem and he didn't notice signs regarding valet parking.

Four of us went to Chefs of Napoli III for an early dinner. All good. We got to The Sharon about 6:10 pm and parked in the lot right behind, off Alonzo. I did see the valet parking lane set up on Alonzo at Alverez, across the street by the movie theater. No problem parking. No problem leaving. Good company. Good food. Good show. Good night all around.

I did post this on another thread already but can't say enough about the show and the venue. Both were spectacular. Two standing ovations and 3 encores that were unbelievable. I would definitely like to see this show again. The musicians were over the top talented. The set gorgeous. Parking not a problem and the Sharon was the best around.

Thank you so much for telling us these nice things about The Sharon and pointing out there were no issues with parking.
Where are all of the rumor mongers and pot stirrers now to apologize that they were wrong?

We were there, great show, loved The Sharon, not a bad seat In the house. Got there at 6:30 parked the golf cart right across from the valet stand and next to The Sharon. The valet seemed to be busy with cars, did not see them park any carts. A very nice evening out just a twenty minute cart ride away. We love being here.

Got there at 6:40 tonight, valet parked, got drinks at the bar, and sat in a first class performing arts center. The show was top notch with production and sound as good as any. The cast nailed it, very professional and totally entertainig. Thank you Morses for a great night.

Awesome show! Like everyone else, we had no parking issues AND I got kissed by Elvis!
Like everyone else, my wife and I loved the show. Only one complaint. The show was 1 hour forty minutes long with no intermission. It is too long a period of time for me without being able to stand up. If one did have to go to the bathroom, they could not come back to the show. I hope the no intermission nor ability to come back if one did leave was only for this show and no others. If it is the policy for all shows, I will have gone to the first and last show at The Sharon.
The show itself was fantastic and the theatre is beautiful.
I apologize if I am raining on anyones positive comments.

I was told by the usher that it was the cast that requested no one leave during the show. I agree, way too long with no intermission. It was fantastic though.

It was one of the best shows I've seen since I've been here!
It was actually a scarf & yes, I kept it. (oh, and I will never wash my cheek again! LOL)

Wait, I thought the place was a dump, big waste of money with 2nd rate entertainment. Parking would be a nightmare and unaffordable ticket prices. At least that's what the doom and gloom crowd here said before the new Arts center even opened! THEY WERE WRONG! First class venue with great shows. We were at Million Quartet last night, sold out, and had no problem with anything, parking, being seated at a restaurant before the show or traffic leaving after the show.
My only request to all the haters is, Please, never go there! That will save more great seats for me and the rest of the Villagers who don't buy into your "anything new has to be bad" attitude. Oh, and by the way, stay away from the new Katie Belle's when it opens, I'm sure you'll hate that too!

The Million Dollar Quartet is basically a one act show with continuous high energy. An intermission would be a mood breaker. The show never has one where ever it plays.

I would hope you can make a call to find out if the show you want to attend has an intermission. MDQ was designed for no intermission, didn't have one on Broadway or in the regional theaters. An intermission would have been disruptive to the flow of this show. There will be similar shows.

Well, it's happen again. Another GREAT SOLD OUT show at the Sharon that was panned in previous posts by the musical purists.
