Good Morning Villagers and non-villagers! I have recently moved to Leesburg, FL and I am looking for fun things to do. Specifically, food and wine or food festivals/events in the surrounding area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Orlando, Fruitland Park, Leesburg, Eustis, Clermont, Mount Dora, Webster, The Villages, etc...any of these are fair game. Thank you for your help!

Visitor Information :: Florida Museum of Natural History (http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/index.php/exhibits/always-on-display/butterfly-rainforest/visitor-info/)
The Butterfly Rainforest is a can’t-miss living exhibit that features hundreds of free-flying butterflies and birds from around the world along with an assortment of other animals including turtles and fish to experience firsthand. The lush landscape is planted in tropical trees and colorful flowering plants amid waterfalls and a walking path. Skilled interpretive staff are available to help answer questions and provide visitors with a personal and highly engaging experience.

Some of us are too poor to run with the 1%.

There is a woman who lives in TV (her name escapes me right now). She writes books about things to do on day trips around Central Florida. You may want to go to the Leesburg Library and see what you can find.
Also, if genealogy is your cup,of tea, the Leesburg Library has excellent resources and a librarian who specializes in genealogy. He is a member of our local chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Ouch...now there's a misplaced conception.
