We are so excited - our MN home sold this weekend, and we'll be moving permanently to TV the end of Aug.! We'll be at the Sept Cripters luncheon!!! Yipee!!
We did have to lower our asking price. Barefoot, and others, have been strong in their advice that your home is worth what the market says it's worth. That's a hard pill to swallow - but they were right. We lowered our price (not too much) and had 4 showings quickly, and 2 offers. And now we have to shop for social cards!!!!! Can't wait to meet you all.

Wow, congratulations!!! We had planned to be snowbirds, so selling was not an issue. However, our son is in the process of selling a piece of commercial property and his business and has come to terms with recognizing that the market is what it is. He's dropped his price 35% in one fell swoop, though I doubt he'll entertain any ridiculous offers at this point, since the business continues to do extremely well. But it's really tough out there.... We may be in TV for the September Crispers luncheon and look forward to meeting you. Best of luck!!!

Big congrats to you!!! You knew you wanted to be here in TV enjoying your new house and lifestyle...so, you did what you had to do.

We were down here a year and a half before our house sold. Knowing what I know now, I would have priced it very aggressively upfront and would have gotten a lot more for it (and not had 18 months of worry with 2 houses). You did the right thing.

We bought in May and arrived last week. Our house will be finished in September so we are renting in the meantime. We both love being in TV. Every person we have met is wonderful.
This is the best decision we have made.
