A perfectly rectangular swimmin hole? Shouldn't that be kinda oblong, mud banks, willow tree with rope? Otherwise, it's perfect. So, when you inviting us all to visit? I can bring some genuine Harlan County shine.

Congrats---it is nice to get away from the hot sun for a while! We too will be taking our northern road trip this summer. Your place looks "inviting"!

Y'all come up to Canada for a visit.
73 degrees and sunny in southern Ontario tomorrow.
Cool nights - curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book.
The Hummingbirds and Baltimore Orioles are fighting over the bird feeders.
It's a time of rebirth and renewal - it's very pretty here right now.
And the US $ is worth more than the Canadian $. :$:

I have taken off all the clothes I can without making anyone's eyes bleed. Still too hot. Never been a person to like heat. Time for me to head to my hillbilly heaven. Hopefully I find time to finish this project.

Really, NC is cooler than Florida? Is Henderson way up in the mountains ?

I've been to NC in the summer and I remember it being every bit as hot and humid as it is here.

The last two nights here in East Tennessee have been in the upper 40's. 60's during the days. Its going to be in the 80's and 90's next week. My retreat is in the wooded areas, so its quite comfortable.

Is it true that you have to keep a 22 rifle near by for the mosquitoes?

I always tough a shotgun with bird shat was the better solution. You can get several with one shot.......:1rotfl::1rotfl:
