Josh Duggar, the eldest child on the reality show about the Duggars, is alleged to have molested five young girls when he was 14 years old.

This is the same family who rails against transgender people, saying they will prey on young children when they use a public restroom, all the while knowing that they are covering for a pedophile. The height of hypocrisy.

This episode goes back 12 years, but recently came to light and caused TLC to cancel the TV show starring the 19 Duggars. Josh Duggar also resigned his position with the Family Research Center.

He is not alleged to have molested them, he admitted it. And at least 4 of them were his own sisters who he fondled while they were sleeping. And the parents were aware and did not go through the legal system instead went to their church which did not do a child abuse report. Josh was sent to a Christian training center run by a man whose program was pushed by the family, and that man has resigned his position last year amid allegations of failure to report child abuse. Only through a staff person on Oprah was this finally investigated. The cop friend of the family that did nothing with his information is now in jail for several decades for child pornography. This would be a nothing story but for the fact that this family has chosen to portray themselves on TV as the perfect religious righteous example for us all. They have asked us to share their lives and marvel at their success. So their asking for privacy and special consideration for their hurt fee fees is part of the risk you take when you choose to be tabloid fodder for your own profit with a giant skeleton in your closet.

Yes, just read The Silencing to see how this works. It's pretty easy to spot, but increasingly widespread. The book is accurate and well written by a flaming liberal ... but a free speech advocate in the classical tradition.

I never heard of the Duggers until this scandal broke the other day and I refuse to watch Bruce's painful and misplaced journey from manhood to womanhood if that is really possible, a transformation top medical experts proclaim is a huge mistake undertaken by these confused souls
