I see that Vinyl Recall will be playing Tuesday evening at Lake Sumter Landing.

Does anyone know if they are good? What kind of music do they play?

They're five real musicians playing real music on real instruments. They're not DJs and don't use any backing tracks.
They play mostly music from the fifties and sixties with a few songs from the seventies.

We are happy to be joining the plethora of talented musicians and entertainers that perform in The Villages, tracks or not. There is something for everyone here! We have been working hard to have a nice variety of songs. Come out if you get a chance!

Pam is too modest!

Her version of "Oh Darlin'" by the Beatles is second to none.

Also Wayne Beall ( also featured in the Band "The Real Deal") is a bona fide Rock n Roll crooner!

And who can forget the Dulcet tones of Roy Bill?

Be there or "run the risk of being square"!

I took Mrs. Trap out to Lake Sumter Landing this evening. We stayed through two sets of Vinyl Recall and it was really good. Jim (Dr. Boogie) did a great job on both drums and guitar. Keyboard and vocals by Pam was wonderful.

If you have not yet heard this group, make a special point of going to one of their performances. You WILL enjoy it!

I think we had a Gracie sighting. Were you the lady in white off to the right side of the stage, with the gentleman in green?

Rats -- it sounds as if we missed a great performance. I would love to hear Vinyl Recall and Dr. Boogie.
Oh well, perhaps by November they'll be regular performers at the Town Squares.
(I've heard Pam do Abba on Karaoke night at the Waterfront Inn and she was great!)

I love this band!!!

Pammy's "I Believe" was great and Roy always knocks it out of the park with "GOD Bless The USA". A real show stopper.

Always good to hear Beatles tunes by Dr. Winston O. Boogie Jr, (aka Jim).

They said they were playing at SS, on July 6th. Be there or be square.

It was a great show. We enjoyed it as always. It's always fun to be with great friends and musicians. It was fantastic listening to Pam sing the national anthem. Excellent band.

A friend text me early in the evening and said there's a great group at the square. Nice complement. I knew it was Vinyl Recall. Sorry I couldn't make it, but next time, I promise.

I was there line dancing the night away with friends on the side and back of the stage. Especially loved her vocals. Our only complaint was not enough faster music for us but otherwise we had a great night.

Was there for awhile and they are great....like so many talented, energetic Villagers here.

All I kept thinking was "I can't believe people call this a 'retirement' community".

Villagers ROCK, especially Vinyl Recall!!
