Received a letter from tri county lawn service that they will no longer be mowing in our area beginning June 1st. We are not in the villages at this time. Need company that will do push mowing. I have done a search but many posts are over a year old. Thanks for any info

Fertigator and Service Smart use push mowers. They are large, but they aren't riders.

STAY AWAY from Service Smart, they want your $ & give POOR service. Check prior posts on them.

Why does Dean's use push mowers on some and rider mowers on others? They do not use a push mower on my lawn? Thinking of changing them for that reason.

Landsculptures has been cutting our grass for more then two years. At our request they started cutting our lawn with push mowers about 15 months ago. We continue to be pleased with their work.

Just curious - why is it a big deal to use push mowers?

Push mowers are too time consuming for other than Patio and Courtyard Villas. A riding mower probably cuts the cutting time by 50 percent, and in the 90 degree heat that's a lot of wasted effort. The problem with lawn services generally IMHO is cutting too low for the summer.

When we had the lawn done with a riding mower, as they turned the corners the tires dug into the grass and sometimes decimated it. You could see dirt (what little there is of it) and tire marks.
The push mowers are just as wide as the riding mowers, so it doesn't take longer. But they aren't driven, so they're lighter, and they don't cut sharp corners with them.

Had ServiceSmart for past 18 months and had excellent service and quick response to our calls.
