Hello,
I think I read somewhere that there is a fee to use the OBHCC. Can someone confirm this and, if there is a fee, does it cover membership in all the other country clubs, as well? Thank you for your advice. Love you guys!!

OB Hills is requires a priority membership or pool membership to use their pool, but anybody can eat there or play golf as any other country club in TV.

Does the priority membership cover all country club pools? and how much is it?

Here's some info on the country club pools. Someplace on the TV web there is a schedule of membership costs, for both golf and pools (including tennis) but I can't seem find it. You may have to cut and paste this, but it will get you started.

collie1228, thanks for the link, I wrote 'em a note asking for price info. I'll post it when they reply!

I'm not sure of the current costs, they vary greatly depending if the membership is for one person or a family, 3 or 4 clubs or all of them. All of these variables will determine the cost. It all comes down to how many times a week you realistically plan on playing, how many courses you want to play and if you plan on taking advantage of the pools. You should probably wait until you get here and talk to a priority salesperson.

uujudy, thanks from me too. Since TV changed their website homepage a month or so ago, I can't find anything. It's really hard to link to any other TV sites from the home page. I told our realtor today that the webiste is not as good as it was, but if that's my only complaint about TV, then they are probably doing something right!

This is a question that has been answered several ways but i still do not have a answer that everyone agree's is correct.
If you are a renter (no matter for how long) I have been told that you can not use the Orange Blossom Hills Pool under any circumstances. If you are a guest of an owner, they can get you a pass, but if you are a renter, no way - no how!
Is this correct?

The website was listed by uujudy that shows cost of country club pools priority membership. If you are a renter for at least 6 months you can obtain a 6 months priority pool membership from the t-time membership office on 466. Once again see the web site as mentioned.

A guest can visit on a guest pass if the host is a priority member. Does that clear it up for you? :) :)

Chuckster (or anyone else who might know): Is there such a thing as a six-month pool membership for snowbird homeowners? Thanks!

Oops!! I stand corrected for my "senior moment". ;D ;D Just talked with the t-time membership office (352-750-4558) regarding the priority pool membership and found out it is for 12 not 6 months. Priority golf is however available for 6 consecutive months. Sorry about the misinformation. :)

Are non-members of the Country Club permitted to sit at the Tiki Bar and partake?

I believe non-members can partake of the food and beverages at any of the priority pools but just not allowed to use the pool. I have been over to the tiki bar many times and have eaten at poolside and used the bars at both Lopez and Hacienda Hills.... no problem.

We used the Lopez pool earlier this week on our Lifestyle Preview. Clearly, if you want to go through the door from the bar to the pool, the lady at the door wants to see your membership credentials (or for us, to see our pass). It looked like non-members can eat or drink inside, but not outside in the pool area, but I could be wrong. You could always call the pool beforehand, just to be sure.

Hope this helps.

You can eat and drink at the pool area at the Lopez pool. Just can't use the pool. On busy days they limit outside seating to close to the pool bar, where there is ample tables. They usually have a sign saying what areas of the pool deck are restricted to pool/cc members. .

If you come walking in with swimsuits on they'll ask for the pool/cc membership card.

Yes the priority membership covers all the Country Club Pools

Soooooo....after reading all of this I can assume that the info I received is correct. If you are a renter......you can not use the pool at Orange Blossom even if the owner from whom you are renting is a priority menber. Is this correct? However, if you are a guest (non paying) and the owner has the priority membership, they can get you a guest pass to use it. Is that correct?
The reason I am eager to get at the truth here is that we are renting this winter in The Village Of Country Hills (next door to Orange Blossom) for 5 months. Since we are about a 7 iron from the pool, we would love to be able to use it.

The priority membership states it is NON-transferable so my guess would be that even if you rent from a priority member, that membership cannot apply to you and therefore you cannot use the pool under their membership.
