You can add this to the list of what is correct to do - the poop is towards the end :) >

Nothing to argue about there. Vet offices should also post this type of info.

You'd think there wouldn't be so many cat litters that encourage flushing. I suppose the manufacturers console themselves by imagining that people actually sift out the poo before sending pee-crusted chunks of litter down the toilet. Some states, California among them, have banned flushable litter.

Years ago I used to have to work in some condos in Boston. One day while doing work in one I observed the client had a litter box on the toilet and it had a hole in the middle about 2 inches in diameter. On a stand in the hallway was a book on how to toilet train a cat. I thought that was the most funniest thing I every heard of. The client came back to the condo just before I was leaving and I had to ask how the training was going. She claimed it worked as each week the hole is made bigger until the box is removed. I spent the remainder of the day having occasional bouts of laughter among myself.

Wait until CA starts using recycled sewage for a potable water supply. I won't be visiting there anymore.

The only thing I remember was she used clay litter but you don't put any near the hole and as the hole gets bigger you use less litter. The cat gets acustomed to jumping onto the toilet. I would think you could eventually stop up the toilet.

If you saw Meet the Parents or maybe its sequel, then you remember the cat who used the toilet. Maybe, they trained it this way?
