Is there a site I can view all of the pools in the villages - (Family and Neighborhood pools) - I want to be somewhat organized when I arrive - The Villages is BEAUTIFUL but can be overwhelming because it is soooo big!!! Any sites or info would be greatly appreciated - I am also looking for the following:
A good Groomer & Vet
Dentist & Internal Medicine Physician
Thank you in advance!!
:) :)

You need to buy the five dollar map. I know The Villages Mercantile sells them.
Did someone say that Publix has them?
I think finding a good PCP physician is very difficult here. It is definitely NOT like Cincinnati where the standards of the large University of Cincinnati medical community pervade the area.

Do you know if the map is online or perhaps on the new GPS app?

Hi - We've been working on a quest to swim in them all our first year here...only 12 to go! I have a spreadsheet of all the pools opened so far. If you want to PM your email address, I'll email the list to you.

If you go with the villages health system you will wait 2-3 months (yes months) just to get the get acquainted appointment with a nurse/physicians assistant. Your first doctor visit will probably be several weeks after that. If you go outside the villages health care system you might be better off, no idea.
If you have a health concern that will need immediate action when you move here, I would get as much done before you move. I would call around down here for a suitable physician before you actually arrive, setting up appointments, etc.
Hope this helps.

Unless of course you use UnitedHealthcare Advantage which is the preferred plan....then you will get in within days or even hours.
