We may not have gators, but we do have an occasional bear.

Very funny dbussone, eh?
Our golf season stretches from whenever it gets warm to whenever it starts snowing.

I had an uncle who lived in ME. Every January first he hosted a golf tournament at Norway (ME) Country Club. Snowshoes were mandatory and he painted golf balls orange to make them easier to find. And this was long before colored golf balls came to be.

Your Uncle sounds like a very fun guy!
January 1 is the day that Canadians take a polar bear swim. :cold:
Ice fishing is also a popular activity in the winter. :cold:
Thank goodness we live in The Villages in the winter. Now we don't have to pretend that we're enjoying the ice and snow.

Please avoid using the words ice and snow when responding to me. I am apt to develop a case of the vapors if you do it again.

I know, just the sight of this little guy :cold: gives me the vapors.
I think he is Canadian because he wears a toque and shivers a lot.
