The pretty cat (looked young) wouldn't come to me but did pause and sit for "kitty, kitty" so he didn't seem feral. We gave up and put out a little dry cat food for him. If you are missing a tuxedo cat, you may want to look here.
If he is feral, which I doubt, I hope he stays. I'm afraid all the workers trash in the construction area will attract rodents. A few catch and release kitties would help as they did in Alhambra. If you see a feral cat with a slightly clipped ear, encourage him to stay in your neighborhood. You may not love cats yet but they are way better than rats.
