I turned Fox and Friends on this morning for my laugh to start the day. It does give me the opportunity to also see Elizabeth Hasselback (who is extremely easy on the eyes - even if she is a regressive).
The subject turned to the G-7 Summit. The headline wording was "Obama Touts Climate Change at G-7". They then had the film clip of the President addressing the European leaders. He said the subjects to be discussed would be the European economic situation, radical terrorism, the situation of Russia and Ukraine, (a couple more big topics), and climate change.
Climate change was the very last item in a long list of important topics. Why would Fox just pick the very last item and put that as their headline? Even their correspondent at the Summit admitted that would take up very little time on the agenda while the pressing topics of economic situation, Russia and Ukraine, terrorism, etc would be the major parts of the Summit.
Yes, fair and balanced reporting by all means. Well, Elizabeth Hasselback looked great!

In a world of Chinese hacks, Russian invasions, Iranian nukes and ISIS going crazy, for someone to say "climate change' is the biggest threat on the board, or even makes the list, is evidence of the following:
- mental illness (ie lack of ability to perceive reality)
- lack of leadership (ie leading against a phantom threat, vs the real threats)
Btw, given that the term "climate change" is a truism, the question is WHAT would you like to do about it ... shut down the economy? Return to a 17th century lifestyle? All so much hot air ... no pun intended.
ps I agree Elizabeth is foxxxy

Please re-read what I wrote. I stated that the President said climate change at the very end of the list of the items to be discussed. He did not say it was the biggest threat on the board. Remember, President Obama did not personally make the list of items to be discussed. He had input as well as all the other leaders having their input. Are you saying all the leaders at the G-7 are mentally ill or have a lack of leadership? I am quite sure climate change will be the least discussed matter on the agenda.
I am not a scientist (although I played one on television) so I really do not know what to do about climate change except to reduce pollutants in the air, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and a few things like that. It would not take shutting down any part of the economy nor returning to a 17th century lifestyle.

I will not doubt what you say, but given your shock and dismay, have you ever watched MSNBC at all ? Have you read the posts on here about distorted headlines on TOTV as well as other places ? Have you seen the coverage on CNN relative to crime, and the distorted come on headlines ?
Not sure what to say. Have you participated when complaints are brought to the fore on this forum concerning headlines...is., traffic tickets headlong NY Times coverage, etc.
Or is there another agenda. If you had not singled out one network to attack, I probably would support you totally, but I smell an agenda

And you limit this complaint to Fox for what reason ? Do you watch other channels ?

Out of curiosity, since a poster is appalled at headlines...I just checked NBC news website...headline
PRESIDENT BARRACK OBAMA SPEAKS ON OBAMACARE CHALLENGE, IRAQ, SOCCER.
President Barack Obama Speaks on Obamacare Challenge, Iraq, Soccer - NBC News (http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/watch-live-president-barack-obama-speaks-g-7-summit-germany-n371541)
A thread on presentation of headlines would be fun. All the networks play to viewers. What might attract viewers. It is frustrating to be sure.
If you think Fox stands alone with this, you don't get out much

Nice to see your utter lack of objectivity. You were set on finding fault with Fox and Friends no matter the topic discussed. Typical liberal.

Amazing stuff.
The OP is shown to be a real honest in the flesh troll and he began a thread to prove it. The premise of his thread was destroyed immediately and he is now shown as a 100% troll yet he still tries to amuse someone !!! Interesting concept for sure

...and you love it!
The premise of the thread was NOT destroyed at all. Fox was shown to be taking the smallest agenda item and making it appear as the President was only interested on climate change. However, all networks will go with their bias as MSNBC did report on the insignificant issue of Rubio's traffic tickets.
However, you must have a compulsion to keep looking for my posts just in order to call me names. Get a life, dude. This is The Villages. Have fun. Play some golf, join a club, find a friend, go to church.

Yes Obama said he has No strategy to defeat Isis! As they continue to take over cities, rape children, be headings, genocide etc. He has No clue. Most useless president in U.S. history. He can't get out of office soon enough and God bless the next president.
As far as fox, listen in the evening starting with O'Reilly. Then watch Megan at 9pm. She's even easier on the eyes and yes fox is fair and balanced as they have both conservatives and liberals on, unlike CNN or cnbc

Too bad that your Gang of Six has dwindled down to just two. Well, your nasty comments are just typical of what you used to throw around on the old political forum. No substance at all. Just nasty retorts that had nothing to do with the original post.

Useless reference that is meaningful to only one person....what ever the hell it means/indicates.
Further indication of lack of credence is the pretense to alledge knowing who is who.
Must be self gratifying; why else would one continue the aberration.
