Does anyone know of a PT/coach who can help someone return to golf after a serious surgery? Mostly balance, strength issues, but it has taken all the fun out of hubby's game and he's no longer interested in playing something that was a big part of his life. Surely with all the bad knee, bad back, bad hip issues, there is a guru that has realized there is a huge market here for that kind of coaching. I know there are lots of PTs in TV, but I'm looking for someone who knows golf and has success in this specific area. Thanks for your insight.

Say you may want to check out Sandra Chester at Golf Your Best. She is at the Oxford Golf Driving range on 301. She works with a lot of people like with the conditions you described and is a PGA Pro.
I am sure others on this site will recommend her as well.
Here is the website: Golf Your Best, Inc. (GYBI) (352) 446-2255 cell (352) 751-5122 office - Home (http://www.golfyourbest.com/)

Give her a call.

Sandra was a life saver for me after a serious fall. She coached me through my rehab of a hip replacement and was able to alter was swing to keep me pain free. She's is a golf pro for our age group. Understands and has the certifications to work with physical limitations. A+ teacher and coach.
