Went to get my haircut at the Salon Academe today. Got it washed, the girl started the cut around one ear. She then made a comment that I would perfect for her "do over" at graduation. Me, being me, had ask what she meant. It is a head to toe makeover. Haircut and color, makeup, clothes (she'll supply the clothes since we're the same size). So, I said okay but she had to at least cut around the other ear, which she did.
So, on September 4, I'm letting someone do whatever they want to my hair (but she promised to keep me a redhead, thank goodness!) and my face. I then have to walk down a runway showing before pics and me today. Barring the fact that I'm going to feel like a shaggy dog with strange roots for the next month, this should be fun (I hope).
I find the whole thing rather hysterical. I'm not much of a girly-girl and I'm trying to imagine 4 hours in a beauty salon. Wish me luck.
