I was not a big fan of this show but when someone was amazed at the value that always got me thinking and wondering. This new episode reevaluates the antiques from a show taped in 2000.

I thought antiques and art always appreciate. Boy was I wrong. Maybe the internet and ebay changed all that because many $10k items in 2000 are now worth $6k.

I think you are right. The internet and eBay have made things so much more accessible and has driven the prices down.
