I heard two big explosions around 9 pm tonight. Anybody else hear them?

We heard them in Mira Mesa. House shook and windows rattled. Call my brother who lives near the forest and he said that they were practice bombs. Doing a lot of bombing runs lately due to the high terrorist alerts.

Navy bomb runs in the Ocala Forest would not likely shake rattle and roll in Mira Mesa unless they were using Atomic Bombs.

On search above, type in bombing in Ocala Forest and you will find more than a dozen threads on just that. And Ocala Forest isn't that far as the crow flies. Been here eight years, and heard a lot of big booms over time.

Oh yes they do. I forgot what kind of bomb they set off but it is some kind of buster bomb I think. The bombing run isn't that far away.
