IRS Scam

Please beware! there is an IRS phone scam going around.

I got a computerized phone call today from "The IRS". I was told that the IRS is starting a lawsuit against me if I don't phone back to discuss my "case".

#1. I don't think the IRS would be phoning about a lawsuit.
#2. I think a formal letter would be sent about any "case".

The IRS scam has been going on for a long time. I suggest putting that phone number on call block or you will be getting more of them.
