After 60 attempts to repeal the ACA and numerous court appeals, it's time to throw in the towel. I'm almost glad, because after all this time no plausible alternative was advanced, just a bunch of bluster.
Anyhow here is the gist if the ruling.
"Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to destroy them," Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for the court's majority. "If at all possible, we must interpret the Act in a way that is consistent with the former, and avoids the latter."

I respectfully disagree. This law is bad for patients, physicians, the system of medical care, and taxpayers. Just my opinion.

It's been a bad week for a conservative Obamacare hater who flies the confederate flag and despises gay marriage, decision coming soon.

Chief Justice Roberts has proved himself a good defender of the ACA. Just think, he was appointed to the Court by George W. in hopes of having a conservative on the Court for a long time to come.

You missed what is really going on. He just doesn't see this as a legal issue. He already established that with the first ruling when he redefined "fine" as "tax". His position is that he won't override (the medicaid expansion nothwithstanding) what Congress passed as he doesn't see that as part of the job description. He has already essentially said the American people opted for this at the ballot box. This is the second time that the actual wording of the law has not been of consequence. Clearly SCOTUS doesn't feel obligated to act stricly as a legal court anymore and views their role as being more pragmatic.

Now, even the most ignorant among use will be able "to see what's in it away from the fog".

I believe many people are confused about this law. First it is not a Health Care law as such. No, its a law that permits the federal government to offer a tax credit to some while the remaining taxpayers pay the bill. its like those people who buy expensive Telsa's and are tax credited $7500 mainly because Obama has funneled millions up on millions in tax benefits to Telsa so he can advance his green agenda. The same with college loans, EBTC all schemes to redistribute income.
Many people have complained that they were paying less by dealing with medical issues as they arose than the policies offered under ACA.
Obama has directed these insurers to offer such things as pap smears and mammograms for transgenders.... now that's an oxymoron.
Those who cheer will be crying in their beer when the financial fallout for this program finally gives way. In the meantime ACA is playing badly in many medical institutions
I have to admit that I am disgusted and as I said before disgust is the only emotion one has to learn through repetition and not instinct.
This country has gone just plain logo and we have useful idiots applauding the demise of this nation

And why would this be and oxymoron?

You do realize that Bruce Jenner had to take a boat load of hormones to become a women. Some of those do cause cancer....

Out of shear curiosity ...... what is your Medicare ID# ??
and if you think that the amount of FICA you and your employers paid in is = to the amount of benefit you are / will receive .... you are delusional.

It depends on when you die. You should refrain from calling people names as it is rude, unprofessional, reflects on you and how you were raised, and not in a good way.

I have no problem with healthcare for everyone but I'm very much opposed to paying for todays healthcare with our grandchildren's future earnings. ACA is the law and we should be paying for 100% of it instead of adding it to our deficit. None of our elected leaders have shown the courage to go after the cost of healthcare which is the real problem, not the ACA. As a society we have gotten much to comfortable with shopping now and paying later.
