I have noticed quite a few post where people are asking questions about their palms.( Hopefully this will help you ) If you were to call the county extension office and ask them, they will guide you to the right person so you can get a professional answer. Their phone number is 352-569-6870 and you can speak to a master gardener and they will be happy to help you, their hours are Wednesdays and Fridays 9am to 3pm. If you would send them pictures of your trees sometimes that will help them with your questions. Their e-mail is ( askthemastergardener@ifas.ufl.edu ) also you can go to the Plant Clinics that they have in The Villages, they have them in 3 or 4 places at different times. I also know Lloyd Singelton is very knowledgeable about all plants and trees, but he deals with the commercial property in The Villages. I have people e-mail me or call me also I'm sorry we just don't have the time, we are busy doing landscape projects for customers here in The Villages. I have spoken to the county extension office, and they will be more then happy to help you. ( I hope this helps with your questions and concerns )

WOW, a reply with very useful information that is not a sales pitch. Good for you Ron. We are considering planting some palms, and I am going to the experts before going ahead with the project. Thank you for the info.
