The epoxy paint on my garage floor shows tire tread marks that I can't seem to remove.

My car and golf cart have both left tread marks. The epoxy paint was sealed. Should this be happening, or did I get a bum paint job?

The job was done two years ago, but tread marks started appearing almost immediately. Yes, I do have old carpet on the floors beneath the vehicles, but I still have to drive over the painted floor to get to the covered part.

Restating, is it normal for vehicles to make tread marks on a sealed, epoxy floor? Paid good money for the floor to look good, and now I wonder what was the point.

No, it is not normal for vehicles to make tread marks on a sealed, epoxy floor. It hasn't happened to mine - coated in 2011.

Whatever the case, now I need someone who can match the color and repaint and reseal the tread-marked areas. I don't want to re-do the entire garage.

Any epoxy pros reading this who'd like a crack at the job, send me a PM.

Did you contact the company the did job originally? Not sure they would step up but might be worth a phone call.
