You know the attorneys are going to love this . That many more for divorce. Or are the gays going to be exempt from that. I wish the government would have a national vote to see or prove the minority is ruling the majority. That must be the democratic way. Everyone will be crying for yesterday is about a year or less. Look at Europe with their monetary system dont think for a minute that can't and won't happen here. I wonder what language we speak someday. Yea I got a little off the title of my post but what the hell.

We do have a national vote, it's called the presidential election and will be coming up in 2016.
There is no more "gay" marriage, it is just called marriage.
Massachusetts has had same sex marriage for over a decade, when it passed under then Governor Mitt Romney. It would be interesting to see how that divorce rate compares with heterosexual marriage rates during that ten year period.
Let's ask Rush Limbaugh, who is shopping for wife number five. Or Donald Trump, whose only requirement for wife number four is she must be half the age of wife number three.

Hey now, Rush Limbaugh can't support all the divorce lawyers by himself!

I see a grass roots uprising for a amendment to the constitution. As I understand it, if thirty-five states have a statewide vote and it is in favor of defining marriage as between a man and a woman, it becomes law. At that point someone would tell the Supreme Court to just sit on their robes and rotate!

Before a constitutional amendment goes to the states for ratification, it must first get a two-thirds vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Is it not true that the states can call a constitutional convention and they do not need the blessing of the congress.

Me, I am sick and tired of hearing about the subject. I did not care before this week and I certainly care even less now.
Procreation has been relegated to a male and a female......the same for marriage.
Nothing more than a lot of special interest and minority representation continuing to re-define America simply to gain benefits.
The other 90++% of us could care less.
Too much visibility and ballyhoo magnified and amplified by politicians and the media to gain votes and further the agenda.
All so much BS......

Maybe you protest too much, hmmm? Don't worry your pretty little head, Princess, the majority of voters in America approve of same sex marriage, so you can come out and rejoice!

Poster #11:
You are correct the left, the left media (alaphabetic TV stations and Hollywood) will beat their drums loudly and often because they worry that same sex marriage (an oxymoron) itself will be resisted. Television and movies can really cash in with homosexual scenes. I mean HBO has had a good head start. But we have our remotes and I find mine needs more battery replaces these days. Wonder why?
Watch the heavy assaults on all religions by the left because that is one avenue to defeat this major mistake, that is why secularism plays well with lefties.
Misguided people believe this issue was about civil rights, love dignity because those were some of the labels the left used to garner a favorable imagine . But to heterosexuals the act is unnatural anyway you color it.
So watch as gay educators and their sympathizers try and influence young minds. Its already news in Ontario Canada.
Of course people should be treated equally under the law that is our democracy in action. However by judicial dictatorship 5 unelected judges changed the definition of marriage, definition that has existed since the beginning of mankind first by nature than by law. There was god reason to do so
For the Democrats this issue was about only one thing more votes. Its amazing to me how much a politician will go against their personal beliefs for a vote. They cover their acts with I serve the people and they have spoken. Rrright.
I hold no malice toward gay people but I do believe the act is unnatural. I do not wish them harm and clearly we all seek happiness. But the re-definition of marriage is going to open a pandora's box and with the present Supreme Court wild imagination any relief or remedy is possible.
Personal Best Regards

At one point in time there was only one group of animals that showed homosexual tendencies. Now we have two sets of monkeys that are that way.

Not at all. You just look to hard at anything not in line with your views.
Your score? Credibility = zero.
Proven by trying to act like you know the poster and do not get the gender right but continue as if valid.......very typical.
NAsty, disrespectful, inconsiderate antagonism as per usual.
Hence ineffectective as per usual.

My but you are sensitive about gender - what would Freud say about that? The post must have been rather effective, hence your angry and lame response.

Regardless of what your personal feeling are on this topic, we should all be disappointed in the fact that the Supreme Court has essentially added another paragraph to the Constitution. This is not their job. As a result, state's rights have yet again been eroded -this is the sort of thing the framers of the constitution wished to avoid. From a purely pragmatic point of view, the Supreme Court has essentially removed some freedoms. By this I mean, if you are not in favor of gay marriages, for whatever reason, you previously could have move to a state whose citizens have voted not to allow gay marriages. That freedom has now been removed - you would now need to leave the country. The issue is not gay marriages, I really don't care one way or another. The issue is the Supreme Court doing a Federal power grab from the states. For those who say "the end justifies the means", you should ask yourself "What's next?"
Maybe you protest too much, hmmm? Don't worry your pretty little head, Princess, the majority of voters in America approve of same sex marriage, so you can come out and rejoice!

Excellent advice! You and your ancestors got over the end of slavery, women getting the vote, and lynching becoming frowned upon, you can get over this.

You got the gender wrong it is as simple as that.
Your rhetorical BS is only validated by your continuing to pursue a simple line of thought even when advised being incorrect.
Fact obviously has no impact on your name calling catharsis.

Which is overridden by electoral college, so it's really not national vote, you may thing it is but it's not!
Your ideology that homo's don't will not get divorce in as stupid as your heterosexual rant.
