I know someone who is not far from Brownwood (outside of The Villages) that wants to have their names put on a golf cart. Do you know of anyone who does this and that works that far south?

I'll be sure to wave when I see that funny sticker on the front of your cart. Hotty Toddy!

They contacted Dee, but she does not go outside The Villages....even though they live on the other side of The Villages fence. Anyone else do it?

Look for a vendor on the internet that makes up the names and put them on yourself.

Markets of Marion has a vendor that will make custom name decals, any color/size/style, while you wait. Or within 30 minutes or so depending on how busy they are.

We have used them. They are easy to install.

Old names would have to be removed before new ones can be put on. Does anyone know how to get them off and how the new ones go on?

OP, gentle heat from a hair dryer and your finger nails will typically take off the old names. You will probably need to use automotive polish, or possibly a very light scratch remover to get rid of the outline of the old names.
The golf cart shop at colony plaza sells the names. These are designed for do it yourself install. You pull off the backing, place the name on the cart press firmly, then remove the protective covering.
Hope this helps, as you can guess I did ours myself.

sign vendors are usually at market night at the squares...they will explain how to install the lettering
..it's not hard to do...if they're not real busy, they will probably install them for you..to remove existing names, use a sharp knife to carefully pry up the the vinyl lettering then use GooGone adhesive remover to remove the residue.

I put Anonymous on both sides so that my cart will be easy to sell.
