It took me 6 months but I crocheted this afghan from a graph! It is a gift to my niece and her autism family. I am so proud of them and what they accomplish every day - as well as what I did in 6 months! My Irish pattern afghans are never this difficult/time consuming! :)
Need an afghan, a baby blanket, golf cart warmer, or just help learning to crochet at any level? Catch me when we fly back to our snowbird nest in January!

My Grandmother did similar work---a skill that few know how to do today. Your niece should be very proud as it looks beautiful. Congratulations!

Great job! The putting it together must have taken the most time which I do not have the patience for.

That is so beautiful. You should be bragging. I am a knitter and have made numerous afghans for my family over the years and each one was special for them. They look forward to each and everyone is always asking when the new one is coming. Working on one right now.

To put the design in context-- here are 2 autism sayings--
"Solving the puzzle one piece at a time" and "Until all the pieces fit"
