help - car mechanic recommendation

We are down here renting for a month and the car is throwing a mis-fire code. At home I would take care of it but I am on vacation... Any local mechanics that you have had good experiences with?? Thanks.. Patch

I really like Tri County on 441 near Lowe's. Fair, knowledgeable, honest and your car is ready when they promise it. Their biggest minus is they don't always communicate as good as they should. I've recommended them to many and all have been very happy with their work.

I have 2 import cars and if I don't have to take them to a dealer then I found AutoMaster in Leesburg. Owned by a British mechanic, ASE certified techs, latest bay equipment and best of all they know their stuff and are honest with reasonable costs. They also had good past reviews.

Lake Sumter Transmission in Leesburg is an excellent and reputable shop. Diagnoses your problem first, gives a quote, you decide what to do. I've been using them for several years with nothing but great service! 352-787-4640 ask for Bobby, Service Mgr.

Nix lake Sumter trans ...said we needed a rebuilt trans...went to trans in Ocala 10th and 441 .. Did something to the computer while we waited and did not charge
