The Multi-Modal Path Discussion Group met on July 6, 2015 to review the findings of Individual Project Order 17 (IPO) with Kimley-Horn & Associates (Engineer). The IPO was previously approved to review options for center island markings and side markings on the multi-modal paths. The discussion group consists of representation from Districts 1-10 and the Amenity Authority Committee (AAC).

Following a presentation provided by the Engineer, the Multi-Modal Path Discussion Group discussed the findings and supported center island markings and solid, edge line striping on the multi-modal paths. Additional discussion will be forthcoming regarding the type of material that will be used for striping (thermoplastic, paint, epoxy, etc.)

The following actions were taken:
• The Project Wide Advisory Committee (meeting concurrently with the Multi-Modal Path Discussion Group) approved recommending approval for center island markings and solid, edge line striping to the Sumter Landing Community Development District (SLCDD) for multi-modal paths in Districts 5-10. (The recommendation will be subject to determination of the material to be used for the striping.)
• The AAC will have addressed the issue at their meeting on July 9, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the Savannah Center.
• Districts 1-4 will address the issue at their meetings on July 10, 2015 in the Savannah Center:

o District 1: 8:00 a.m.
o District 2: 9:30 a.m.
o District 3: 11:00 a.m.
o District 4: 1:30 p.m.

The recommendation can be viewed by clicking on the header of this announcement.
