Why because he is the only one bold enough to speak the truth?? Look at the young woman just killed in San Fransicko! What a disgrace those politicians are. Hmm. Wonder if Obama will attend her funeral caused by his lack of enforcing border control??

Glad you fixed your error.

Your thread title says STOP, which is not true, but you corrected it your post to the "tone down" which is true.

Just when was the first time this guy came across the border?

Don't think Obama was President in 1991....do you forget Reagan gave amnesty during his term? Obama has deported far more illegals than most Presidents.

I am frustrated, and am sure others are,by the attention Trump is getting from the media and pundits. I don't think anyone thinks he has a shot at the nomination, and nobody tries to dispute him...why all the attention. Media is the conduit here, they play it upas if he represents something; they keep running the same things over and over and over.

I can see why he has been asked to tone it down. What exactly is the media looking for. If any of them would dispute what he says but they don't.

On CNN yesterday, I heard a gentleman ask him if he could guarantee that there are no illegal immigrants working on any of his projects. Please, how would he know, and how would Hillary Clinton be able to answer that question about any of her campaign or foundation employees.

This is a media event and I do hope he tones it down, BUT asks the same hard questions a little quieter.

Obama hasn't deported any illegals. He wants the votes. Americans are sick of illegals coming over and all trump is saying are many criminals are crossing the borders which is absolutely true. He just isn't worried about being politically correct about it as all the other politicians are. And God knows we should all be sick of politicians by now. They don't have our best interests at heart , only their own

Asking Donald Trump to tone it down is like pouring gasoline on a fire. He is probably still having a chuckle over that telephone call.

Trump is heading to Arizona and Nevada this week-end to, no doubt, spout more incendiary remarks. Trump is ruining the GOP's chance of winning the White House for generations to come.

I think you may be missing the point here. Two federal judges have now gone on record as saying the federal government has been asked to ENFORCE FEDERAL LAW.

Our government, headed by President Obama just ignores these pleas, and supports these sanctuary cities. Of ores,President Obama was not in office when this man was beginning his charades, but had the President tried to enforce federal law,who knows.

I think the comment about attending the funeral alludes to the outpouring of sympathy in the past for known lawbreakers and representatives of the WH attending their funerals.

Please read how federal employees have begged for enforcement because it is out of control.

"The administration’s deportation chief backtracked Friday, just a day after she pleaded with Congress to pass laws cracking down on so-called “sanctuary” cities and states — a stance that appeared to put her at odds with her boss, President Obama.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Sarah Saldana, who has been on the job less than 90 days, told Congress she would welcome new laws to crack down on states and localities that refuse to cooperate with her agents who are trying to apprehend and deport illegal immigrants.

“Thank you, Amen,” she said Thursday when asked if she would support Congress passing a law insisting local officials cooperate.

Her remarks drew fire from immigrant-rights advocates, and on Friday she had to issue a new statement saying she does not, in fact, want to see Congress pass any new crackdown laws."

Show us your proof that there have been no illegal immigrants deported since 2008 and I will buy you a cold beer. That is a mighty good offer on a hot day.

I will grant you that the President, himself, has not taken any illegal immigrant to the border and done the deportation in person. Did George W. ever do that or any other President? Nah, kind of doubt that.

For what it might be worth....probably not much to the defenders...

"Of the more than 2,200 people who received federal sentences for drug possession in fiscal year 2014, almost three-quarters of them were illegal immigrants, according to new data from the United States Sentencing Commission.

Illegal immigrants were 20 percent of the kidnapping/hostage taking sentences in 2014, 12 percent of the murder sentences, and 19.4 percent of national-defense related sentences.

All the non-citizens are combined — including legal and illegal aliens, extradited aliens and those with unknown status — contributed to 42 percent of all federal sentencing in 2014.

The commission's statistics only include primary federal offenses, and don't include local convictions or sentences, which is where most rape and murder cases would appear."

Illegal immigrants responsible for almost three-fourths of federal drug possession sentences in 2014 | Washington Examiner (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/illegals-make-up-almost-34-of-drug-possession-rulings/article/2567814)

I know folks do not like the Examiner...I do understand why, but it does not change the facts in the report. A good case for not shooting the messenger...it is what is is.

Why we make this so political.....understood the political implications....but how can anyone say we do not have a problem with illegal immigrants in this country and address it without parsing words or looking for a right or left position.

IT IS A PROBLEM...Trump is right. Is he generalizing....of course, but cannot the adults in the room see the problem and stop allowing their political stance take over. IT IS A PROBLEM

The same held true with Cuba . The boat lift in 60's criminals rapists you name it. Look at Australia , England sent their criminals over there. Now we have a chance to stop this and we are not. Hillary wants a (pathway to citizenship) well there is one for legals. We dont need more laws to get this country straightened out we just need someone to have b---s enough to use the tools we already have. If Trump learns diplomacy he will probably make a good president. Better than what we have seen in the last 30 years.

LAW WHAT DARN LAW...

"A federal judge up in arms about non-compliance with a court order blocking President Barack Obama's recent executive actions on immigration is demanding that Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and four other top immigration enforcement officials appear in a Brownsville, Texas, courtroom next month to explain why they should not be held in contempt of court.

U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen issued an order Tuesday afternoon requring the five officials to show up for a hearing Aug. 19. However, the judge also said he would cancel the session if he's "satisifed" with the government's actions to limit or revoke 2,000 three-year work permits it issued to illegal immigrants after Hanen issued an injunction that limited new permits to a two-year duration.

"This Court has expressed its willingness to believe that these actions were accidental and not done purposefully to violate this Court’s order. Nevertheless, it is shocked and surprised at the cavalier attitude the Government has taken with regard to its 'efforts' to rectify this situation," Hanen wrote.

Big Republican donors have made it clear they do not want Trump to be in Fox's first debate come August. Trump changed the conversation on immigration and outed both Republican and Democrats that have been pandering for votes on this issue.

GOP establishment have christened their candidate Bush and worry Trump is going to over shadow him . Democrats have their candidate Clinton as well

The GOP just better hope that he decides not to run independent

As to the immigration issue itself forge the Sanctuary cities the country as a whole thanks to the federal government is a Sanctuary country

If Trump isn't anything else he is at least open and honest speaking the truth about issues, outing career politicians who are do nothings and opening a a national debate about the issues that ought to be discussed. I am sure there are warts on this guy but he has pulled back the curtains and shed light on the nations problems and demanded honest and open discussion.

Bye Bye political correctness

GOP Sen. Calls For Ariz. Local Party To Pull Sponsorship Of Trump Event (http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/jeff-flake-donald-trump-gop?utm_content=buffer793f1&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer)

So many people are planning on attending Donald Trump's anti-immigration rally in Phoenix on Saturday, that they had to move the event to the convention center. Trump will appear with fellow birther, Sherriff Joe Arpaio.

Arizona Senator Jeff Flake is so alarmed he has asked the local republican party to distance themselves from Trump. Of course, Trump is loving this and will be there in all his glory.

I think all Democrats are proud. This is what they always encourage, except in their internal politicking. But the people have a right to support whatever message they want.

Let us understand something. Trump, as an outsider, needed to get attention and needed it quick. ALL candidates need, during a primary, to catch the attention of the electorate. That is what he is doing. Going to Arizona with his message is no mistake.

He is opening the conversation, and saying to everyone who is running. Do not run from this debate...this has to be discussed.

In the end, unless he gets the nomination, this all will be a footnote. The real campaign will begin next year.

Donald Trump has got the GOP by the balls and Reince Preibus knows it. Trump can easily make Hillary Clinton the next president by running as a third party candidate.

Most third party candidates don't run because of lack of dough and a sense of decency to their party. Trump has the dough and no decency.

Painting everyone with the same brush is stupidity. One illegal nut case doesn't represent all illegal aliens. If the House had passed the bipartisan immigration bill, this deportation issue would be cut in half. Why didn't Boehner put the bill on the floor? It is the Hassett (sp) at its worst. He was afraid it would pass.

If this guy was a convicted felon, why wasn't he put in jail here or in Mexico? That is a real question not rhetorical. The cost to imprison him?

At first I was not sure what immigration bill you referred to; the Bush proposal, or the most recent and glad you clarified it..

My understanding is that it would have given credence to Obama's declaration, and if that was taken out of the bill it would die in the senate because it would get no democratic votes. This is typical, OF BOTH PARTIES,by the way..he wanted to be able to make his little edict acceptable, and it was either accept that or you get nothing.

BUT I do agree that painting everyone with a broad brush is wrong. You know, like all Republicans are bigots; all members of the Tea Party are racist; all Republicans want war, etc. etc., etc

THAT is the problem so often. This immigration bill had background and detail, and simply painting it as you did...Boehner did not bring it up, is wrong. I suggest you look at the history of proposed immigration reform. You will find that there was a bill in place in 2001, and even agreed to by the President of Mexico and George Bush. Then came Sept 11...it was put on hold and when revisited died in committee. An entire series of films were made called "how Democracy Works" which began with the Bush proposing and followed people through the halls of congress.

Point is, this is complicated and reducing it to what you said about Boehner is mis informed and misleading.

Immigration system is broken, as President Obama said many times that he can't just proclaim it, but he did...so it requires talking among informed adults, and not trying to blame someone.

Read, watch and then let's discuss.

Trump is offering no answers, but he is raising questions.

The Immigration bill that I was referencing was the one that passed the Senate just prior to the 2012 election. Once the Republicans gain control of the Senate, that was the end of that bill, because now there was no need for comprise.

Concerning "W", when he got reelected in 2004, he assumed that he was going to be able to pass immigration reform. His bill/suggection, died in a Republican committee. That was reported on MSNDC, so consider the source.

You keep on pointing to Republicans as being victims of the broad brush, which has merit. However, Fox News is justifying Trump's comments about illegal aliens the majority being lawless by the one murder American in Frisco. How would we like it, if a black news station pointed to the 9 deaths in a church in SC all said all whites are racists, but I assume some are good people? We would flip for good reason.

Didn't Obama pass an executive order concerning immigration just after the 2012 election, when he assumed the bipartisan bill in the House just died?

My view on immigration build the fence as part of a broader bill. It can't be a single bill, because there will be further action taken by Republicans. That is a given. If it is a matter of principle by them, so be it. Make the law abiding illegals (contradiction in terms) legal, so they don't to face deportation. If you don't want to give them a path to citizenship, that's fine. They won't effect future elections. They are going to start paying taxes. What is wrong with that? More money for the government to spend on defense.

Donald Trump is the only candidate that will tell the people the truth. I was watching the news this morning and they were talking about Mexico letting El Chapo out of prison again and the statement was made that the Mexican drug cartel was in over 1,000 US cities. Even Hillary won't address this issue.

Anyone who believes you are getting the truth from this administration - I have a bridge for sale! Be it unemployment, nuclear negotiations, monetary policy, race relations, taxes, ISIS or anything else you are gravely mistaken. The current 20 billion debt is just the tip of the iceberg. If you add up the unfunded pensions at the local, county, state and federal level, all promised to buy democrat goes over the years, you will know we are much closer to Greece than anyone of our infamous politicians will ever admit until it is too late. Why? Because it will cost them votes!

People get a Life. Politics today is simply Theater. The News Media is there to sell advertising not report NEWS objectively & factually. It's basis is sensationalism!
1. Pages of rhetoric on 'illegal' immigration... it's nonsense... build a 2,000 mile fence, deport everyone etc. etc...blah blah blah... Strictly impose fines on any Employer who hires them? It'll end immediately... but try to get that by Lobbyists and the Chamber.
2. Your endless diatribe on Obama this Obama that... simply have the 'courage' to go to the polls and vote out incumbents... put an end to Lifetime Party Politicians... one or two Terms and you go back to your real Career. Chew on that logic?
