Coloring for grown ups is all the rage. It is featured 7/12/15 in Parade magazine. Do we have any clubs/groups/gatherings in TV for people who like to color?

Lorry (wife) and I always use the coloring pages and crayons that restaurants give to kids to amuse them while their meal is cooked. I usually ask the waitress to decide who did the best --invariably, they alway]s they are equal.

I know there is a zentangle group because I met the lady who runs it. So sorry but I can't remember her name! Check the web list of activities. You should be able to find it there

I run a zentangle class. I do not teach it though. You can take a 2-3 hr class through a woman in the villages to learn the basics then come to my class to practice. Google zentangle to see examples. It's fun, easy, and very relaxing! Pm me for further details!

Adult coloring books fun. Anyone willing to start a club? I have my hands full running other clubs but adult coloring would be so much fun

There was a story about this on CBS a couple of weeks ago. I can see why people like it. It would require some focus that could be calming and you could see what you had accomplished. They talk to the artist who draws the books and also interview some people who have a group that meets to color and have fun.

Too bad they don't use radiators in TV. When I was student teaching, there was a little boy... and a radiator. And a shoebox of crayons...

I'm not a starter but I would be interested in going to a "Coloring Book" club.

She orders the nice books online and can spend hours doing It. Gives her a break from her other activities.

There is a club already started! I think they have a facebook page. I will find it tonight, after mah Jongg. It is new, but I am surprised it isn't showing up in the club area.

You may be thinking of zentangle which I run and you can incorporate colors into your drawings too but these are the cool adult coloring books you see now in the bookstores

Margaret Lyon paper says. Just spoke to her also. They don't meet in villages yet. 50 people on Facebook could just be people all over the country. ?

Karen might be the name she uses day to day. Karen Lyons is who I was communicating with. The FB group was set up for Villagers interesting in starting a club for coloring. I only posted so that you would know someone was trying to create one. I suppose some of the Fb people are from around the country, but it was a spin off of The Villages FB page. Just when you think there can't be a club or topic not already covered, a new one comes along. Keeps things fun and interesting for sure.
