anyone have a recommendation for a reputable appliance repair service who can understand new fangled digital user boards?

I have used Becks, however, if you are looking for someone to repair a board rather then replace, you are probably out of luck. Most appliances today are designed either to be thrown out when they fail, or do complete board replacement when they fail. Repair is almost impossible due to the use of CUSTOM components on many of these boards.

I wonder what happens to that appliance that"cant be fixed" when you replace it with a new one. Got a opinion on my hot tub, kept the old one and replaced a burned out wire myself in the control box. Damage due to a power surge. I think more often the old appliance is repaired after the customer is sold a brand new one. Just my opinion.
