See the following article about the relationship between the two:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1043164/How-Clooney-offers-good-friend-Obama-advice-issues-body-language-Iraq.html

In the process of helping the American people understand more who he (Obama) really is, this article certainly doesn't help....at all.

Yes Clooney can be very helpful coaching Obama how to "ACT". And he of course is a good representative for Hollywood....I guess(?).

But as far as giving advice on Iraq??? On the withdrawal of troops??? When it comes to issues like this Clooney is just like the rest of us....he has his opinions, but is a far cry from an informed expert....like the rest of us.

Worldwide there are certainly more qualified, recognized experts that would truly add value to Obama's quest when touted as confidants........certainly not George Clooney.

I am sure in the ensuing hours this portrayal will be digested, defined and regurgitated for the proper intent and impression. That particular process is one both candidates are spending far too much time on.

I got an e-mail from someone claiming to be George Clooney back around February 2003 when I was fighting for getting links to the respective state victim assistance directories from those state's law, public and other libraries. Still do not know if this was him but to some celebrities' credit they do get involved with many issues that have more to do with who is in the audience at a movie theater than with who is on the big screen.

We should not forget that some of our politicians have backgrounds in theater and the entertainment industry like Ronald Reagan, Clint Eastwood, Arnold S., Jesse Ventura, Fred Dalton Thompson, etc.

One of the law professors at the U of MN Law School Irving Younger used to compare trial advocacy to theater and from what I have seen of courtrooms and the law, he was right on the money.

Sorry if my note sounded like I was kidding! I love George Clooney and think that he would do a fabulous job...he truly gets involved...I also happen to love Hillary! So that really would be a hard choice....if it was mine to make....

I love the Chicago people but the politics in Chicago and state of Illinois are a real joke.
