irrigation problem

Hi, I live in the Village of Santo Domingo. I have three zones in my irrigation system. When the third zone comes on we hear a loud banging in our water pipes. It almost sounds like there is air in the system. Two questions, who do I call to remedy this problem; and can I try to remedy this myself. Thanks.

Wish I had a great answer for you but I don't. I looked in the classified section of The Villages Daily Sun and there is a large section listing services and several in the landscaping area listed irrigation.

Don't know if you have Mike's Maintenance for you lawn if so they include a once a year check up. I had them out when I used them wasn't impressed but perhaps I didn't need much done.
