We are thinking about bumping out our living room wall about 6 ft. We have a vinyl sided bougainvillea. Any recommendations of who to use or advice or designing ideas. Thanks, Ellen

First, contact ARC and see if you can actually do this.
Second, since I assume this is an outside load bearing wall, you may need specific engineer approved drawings, a call to the county building department should clarify specific code requirements will need to be met.
Since this is a major project, I would stick with name companies, I have seen 2 projects that neighbors had done by T&D, and both appear to have been done very well.
Good luck, and I hope this helps. I cannot stress enough to do your homework (1 and 2 ) above before contacting any builder.

Demetri Homes & Remodeling specializes in this type of remodel. My neighbors used Demetri to move out the living room wall in their Sun Kissed which is the same floor plan as the Bougainvillea.
They have a website, but it is very general: DemetriHomes.com | Home (http://www.demetrihomes.com)
If you are on Facebook, their Facebook page is very informative: https://www.facebook.com/DemetriHomes

Hi. We used Bill Tucker in Leesburg (not too far approx 8-10 mile)
He helped me design our new added on bathroom, pool, birdcage
And an attached overhang to tie it all together. We used to build
Houses and were very happy working with Bill (352-360-8062)
Good luck with your project.

We used Advanced Construction to extend our living room. They did a great job and had the best price. They expand these models all the time.

Excellent points to consider!

We have consulted with Paul White of Excel Construction. Plus we have also seen his work. Very nice and professional gentleman. When we get ready to do our work, we will use him.

Is anybody willing to share about how much a bump out like this costs.
