Don't know, this deal is 12 months.

I'm saving $550 over Brighthouse and getting twice the speed.

It is actually a 24.99 promotional rate - 5.00 for online billing option. not sure what it will bump too. guessing what ever the rack rate is at that time. probably $60.00 or so

Nothing, he gets some compensation from Comcast as a dealer.

Took 45 minutes and 3 customer service reps. When it was done after I threatend to go to another provider my current internet only rate of $66.95/mo. was adjusted to $24.99/mo for 12 months as apromotional rate. It took my strong insistance to each rep that I would change providers unless thyey adjusted my rate. If you have the patience and persistance to keep insisting you can save some $$$. In my case almost $500 this year. After the promotion expires I will go back at them again.

I was paying $66.95/mo. After 45 minutes and telling 3 customer service reps that I would switch providers they gave me the Promotional rate of $24.95/mo for 12 months. It then reverts back to $66.95 so I plan to re-visit with them at that time.

I know it's hard for there to be 2 right ways to get to $19.99, but mine is $24.99-$5.00 for Eco bill.......

Is it a 2 year contract with a 1 year lower price?

Folks are right to be persistent with whoever they have. Most providers will match. I just added Comcast at my 4th rental. Figured I get a good deal since I have all my Internet at 3 other places with Comcast. Got $24.99/mo promo rate. I'll call back to get $19.99 now.

Also, for anyone wanting to switch to Direct TV, it's never been cheaper. $19.99/mo for a year (no set-up or install fees). That's 145 channels, including the music ones I love. When I switched at my 3 places last year it was $24.99 PLUS $10 more for an HD box. Now ALL boxes are HD and NO extra charge for it.

Mention my Direct TV acct #14118982 and save $10/mo more for 10 months. Ok, full disclosure, I get a discount too on the referral.

Happy savings and thanks to all for the Comcast tip! It's a good one.
