I received a quote on driveway pavers from Old World Pavers. I need to do my due dilligence and get a few more quotes. Any other good, reputable companies I should consider?

Call Sue Johnson of J.A. Pavers at 352-259-3671. Not only does she have the 1 inch Hanson pavers that Old World and everyone else has, she has another line that are 1 3/16 inches thick.
She just did ours and we're very pleased. The new line has some additional color tones that looked better with our house.

Some want to sell the full size as opposed to the one inch ... any suggestions ? How long do they last on the driveway and walk way? Is it better than having the driveway painted? What's a ballpark cost for a two car garage driveway ? Any pitfalls? Thx

We are using Masterpiece Brick Paving at: 352-255-2338. We are in the process of getting it done. Pavers have been picked out and ordered. I will let you know how they are once installed. I was referred to this company by a neighbor and their job was excellent.

YES, Masterpiece did an excellent job on our driveway. I have had so many people come by and say they love it. It has held up wonderfully and we have had no problems. I would highly recommend John at Masterpiece. He was here on time everyday until the job was done which took about 3 days due to some rain.

I'm not an expert regarding pavers but will pass on this advice I was given. I was told that pavers should only be laid on a new foundation driveway and walkway when the house is built. If laid afterwards, they are laid on a base not suitable for long lasting wear because the base is not deep enough.
Don't know if this is true or not, but it seems plausible.

For those who have had it done, do you have a price per square foot? Thanks.
