For the man who went shopping in Publix and left his little Dog tied in the golf cart. Shame on you. That poor little girl fell out and was hanging by her neck. One woman loosen the leash to get all 4 of her paws on the ground. Why would you take your pet out in this heat and leave her tied in a golf cart while you went shopping? You don't deserve to have a dog

I agree! Leave your pets safe at home. They will be so happy to see you when you come home!
The sidewalks are much too hot for dogs to walk without burning their paw pads!
If you can't walk barefoot on the pavement, your dog shouldn't either. Leave him home!

Bushey, thanks for an excellent example of why dogs should always wear harnesses in golf carts, never collars.
If you love your dogs, please don't leave them in a hot golf cart or car, leave them home!

In this heat Harry is only allowed in the car if one of us will be staying with him - with the A/C on- while we run errands. IMO it is too dangerous to leave a pet alone in a vehicle when the outside temp is 80 and above.

My zack really wants to ride with me but he stays home until it cools off and then he is never left alone in the car. I'm sure this person regrets what happened and I hope he learned something.

And please don't tie your dog to the bumper. (Vacation reference).
