I think that this will be the number one issue in the election. It's obvious that Clinton, and Sanders will be in favor of making the illegals legal. They will not override President Obama's executive order. Who knows where they are going to stand on the path to citizenship! They will be in favor of putting up a fence along the southern boarder with Mexico. This will probably be a concession to get an immigration law passed.

You guys know more about the Republican stance than I do. Bush will probably have the same stance as Clinton and Sanders. Cruz catering to the Tea Party will want to put up a fence, and deport all the illegals. I have heard conflicting reports on Trump. One report said he was in favor of immigration reform, and another said he wasn't. The other two possible Republican nominees Kasich, and Walker I have no idea where they stand.

I don't any other candidate has a chance at the Republican nomination not even Rand Paul.

I think that the Democrats are going to regain control of the Senate. There are 20+ Republicans up for reelection , and less than 10 Democrats. Maybe the Senate can revive the bipartisan bill passed last year, and this time the Republican House will let their member vote on the bill.

Something has to be done on immigration more than just a fence.

Hard to respond to a post filled with "probably" and assumptions. You are incorrect, if I am listening about the candidates stance on legal status and way wrong.

I also object to the inference, and this is not meant to be a pro Republican statement but you seem to imply that nobody is for immigration reform. I assume you know that is not true at all. I also assume you know the political games that killed the Senate bill (either my way or the highway).

I believe ALL candidates are FOR immigration reform. One big difference appears to be that one side is for it AFTER we secure the borders and enforce ALL UNITED STATES LAW. The other side does not speak to that much, either the LAW or border security and enforcement.

i will wait until the campaign unwinds to get rid of all the probably and assumptions in order to make an intelligent decision.

You don't find it hard to respond. Have you ever even once started a post that doesn't try to degrade me? But I am always the problem! Again, whatever floats your boat.

You talk about political games that killed the Senate immigration bill, but didn't mention what party was playing games? We know, who played the games. I would just like you to come out and name the party.

If immigration reform is putting up a fence, and enforcing the current laws, that isn't reform. If enforcing all US law is necessary before reform talk will start, that means everyone here illegally has to get deported first. So, that is not reform.
