Why should he? As tragic as this incident is, it really isn't in the same category as a cop shooting an unarmed suspect. Sadly, cops getting shot in the line of duty is part of the job, just as fire personnel dying in fires. Should any POTUS really be speaking out on incidents of this nature? What should not have happened is Obama speaking out against the Ferguson shooting until he was sure a federal investigation was warranted.

Why would Obama even address these incidents? These are issues of individual states. He is very unprofessional and un-presidential becoming involved in a lot of stuff that he should allow the individual states to handle. Other presidents either did not even address these type issues or they would cut the statement short by saying that the incident was unfortunate and he had confidence that the state would handle it appropriately. His comments are ALWAYS divisive and offensive, NEVER of healing. Obama is pathetic and a great disappointment.

I have a question. The accused killer has been charged with first degree murder. The judge sets bond at $9 million dollars. Of course, there is no way of getting that amount so he will remain in jail.

The first question is WHY set bond at all for first degree murder? Premeditated murder and the possibility of walking around free until trial - or skiping the country?

Question two is - doesn't the Constitution have a right in it about excessive bond? $9 million seems excessive to me. It may not to a DuPont or Rockefeller but to most people it would.

It seems the rule of law has been overtaken by the rule of politically correct. When I see people simply wandering around with a camera following cops hoping to trap them, thus making the cops very passive, it really is a shame.
