As a "rule of thumb" how often do you clear the cache on your iPad to get rid of hidden files and cookies from Safari?

I do it daily or at least every other day. I found I get less ads that way.

ok..advanced settings and then what? I got that far and got nervous as I was afraid I was going to lose important things such as sites listed on "my favorites" list. Will that happen if I click on clear history? I've never done it but I'm thinking it might help this very slow computer of mine. Appreciate advice.

Step 1
Internet Explorer and Chrome are browsers. Do you know what browser you use? I'm asking because you can always add a new browser. It would not have a history or cache. See if you computer is faster with a different browser without making any changes or deletions.

Tomwed I have Internet explorer. I do like your suggestion & may try adding a different browser if I can figure that out.

Step 2 Adding the Chrome Browser
go to Chrome (http://www.chrome.com)
select Download
For Personal Computers
Download Chrome and it should install itself
It is not Internet Explorer but pretty close so it should seem familiar. Go to TOTV and see if it's faster.
