Wonder if The Villages would ever consider opening a museum with history of TV from conception to modern day.

That is a great idea! Sun City in Arizona has one established and maintained by the residents. It is located in one of the original model homes I believe. Del Webb Sun Cities Museum - Sun City Arizona (http://www.delwebbsuncitiesmuseum.org)

They have a Sun Cities Historical Society, as well.

I have heard that indeed the history of The Villages will be the theme for the new John Rohan Center. A friend is one of the local artists commissioned to do a mural.
