I need an outlet in the center bay of my garage for charging a second golf card. Any recommendations?

We put the car in the center bay and the golf carts on either side. Used the existing outlets with surge protectors. Of course if you still have two cars.....never mind.

how about the outlet in the ceiling where you plug in your garage door opener

I added a dedicated circuit in the ceiling between the existing golf cart and car garage. I was able to do this myself, and then get it inspected. In my case this was for a welder, but same idea. If you are not comfortable installing your own wiring, I would use Lenhart's or ECI for this work. Used both for larger projects, and would recommend both.

Thanks for the advice, it worked perfectly. And it was free :bigbow:

Be careful if using the outlet in the ceiling with the garage door opener. A golf cart charger draws a lot of amps and usually requires a separate, dedicated, upgraded amp circuit.
