I would suggest using Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner!

Works good on leather car seats also.

Thanks everyone

Your very welcome....
The Lexol cleaner is one product and the conditioner is another,
just follow the instructions.

Don't be shocked but Scrubbing Bubbles has worked for me for years. Just don't do it too often and rinse well.

Try using the magic eraser

Sorry. I think that is too abrasive for leather. I have used a damp cloth moistened in a little water with liquid dishwashing soap and wrung out well. .

Auto parts store or Walmart auto department has a leather seat Auto Armor cleaner/conditioner in a "wet wipes" container that I have used for my tan leather couches that works very good.

That sounds very convenient.

I use the magic eraser for leather seats and vinyl golf cart seat. Works great and no damage.
Wipe it on wet and towel it off.

I'm glad you said that as I recommended the magic eraser. I don't believe it to be abrasive at all especially used wet. I use it for all types of cleaning in my sink, especially on the paint around door handles and light switches. It's really a miracle.

Goo gone has worked for me

I used Magic Eraser with very good results. I do have one mark that I can't remove. I don't know how it got there. It looks like a mark that aluminum makes. It's grey. I do have Goo Gone Do I'll try it someplace you can't see in it's normal position, just in case.

After cleaning it am I supposed to put on a protective coating or does that do more home than good? I don't want to make it shiney either, if possible.
thank-you all
