Moving into Village of Pine Ridge Soon

Will close on our new house in Jackson Villas in the brand new Village of Pine Ridge on Aug 13th. Would like meet and get to know others who have already moved in or plan to. It's always nice to meet new friends and neighbors, especially when everybody is new to the area.

Welcome to the Villages! You might want to post your message on the "new members forum" because I think you will reach some of the people you wish to contact there. Friends of ours moved to Lake Deaton 1 year ago and they only knew us. Today, we have to schedule a time to see them because they are so involved in social activities. It won't be difficult to make friends.

Congratulations on your new home, jamescarriker! If your experience is like most of ours, you will be making new friends in no time. I have not even moved down there full-time yet and have neighbors who I have met only once or twice that contact me on a regular basis wondering when my husband and I will be moving down or when our next visit will be. In fact, it reminds me of another neighbor who I got to know through this forum and have not even met face to face yet - we email each other all the time.

I say all of this to assure you that making friends in TV is as easy as walking out the door with a smile on your face and saying "hello". Or posting on here as you did!

Welcome to Pine Ridge! My wife and I moved into our new home in Pine Ridge on June 27th and have met most of the neighbors-----all 8 to 12 of them. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and we've already made some great friends. I don't know how many people have moved into the villas, but the homes right above them are filling up fast. We see a moving truck coming in almost every day along with the string of Lowes, Home Depot and of course, City Furniture trucks!

We're from Medina, Ohio.......where are you from?
