Leather Sandal - need repair help

My wife has a leather sandal that needs one strap (with thin fabric backing) cut off and the remaining edges sown so as to not fray.
Anyone have advice of where to take it , OR, anyone do fine leather work?

Haven't been there but I think there is a shoe repair near bargains and treasures area. In that little shopping center near 301 and 466.
