Was watching Morning Joe and the question came up as to why Bernie Sanders is drawing so many large crowds. Answers were given but, the correct one never came up. He is drawing such big crowds not because he is a socialist (we already have one in the WH) but, because He IS NOT HILLARY. That woman has so much baggage she reminds me of Marley's ghost carrying the locks and chains. What most Hillary fans will not admit or try to spin is that most wounds are self-inflicted. The debate I would love to see is Carly Fiorina vs. Hillary Clinton....Carly would eat her for lunch!:boxing2:

A better debate coming up next month will be the slug fest between Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina, when she gets to move up to the big boy's table. This could turn into mud wrestling when Trump schools Fiorina on running a business. Katie bar the door.

This would be a good debate but, when Trump drills Carly on taking down HP she can counter it was done to save HP not like Trump who had to file bankruptcy on 4 of his concerns.

With all due respect...

Why...WHY...would there be a discussion in this political debate about running a business ?

Besides, one involves real estate and the other technology.

Why would ANYONE look forward to a discussion of business in this, or any political debate ?

And she is smart enough to not get down into the mud with him.

As the OP mentioned, for Carly Fiorina to debate Hillary Clinton she must first debate Donald Trump on a number of issues and prove that she is the more electable candidate.

And BTW: Fiorina needs to show that she can raise one billion dollars (based on the 2012 election, probably one and a half billion dollars now) to go to the big dance in November 2016.

Maybe once she KO's Trump, she should ask him for a billion donation :1rotfl:

Why? Because many folks relate running a business to running the country that spends a lot of money. WHy? Because they are both business professionals.
And the last Why is puzzling. Why would we look forward to "any political debate?" To learn of the character and knowledge of the candidates.

Isn't running a business what her resume is all about? Other candidates run on their records as governors, senators or businessmen. What should her record be based on, losing her senate race by ten percentage points? That's a pretty low bar.

Are you kidding me? If this country was run like a business instead of a welfare state we wouldn't be close to 19 trillion dollars in debt!

Considering she was running in a totally blue state?

Don't waste your time. The die hard dems are committed to tear down any other female candidate.
Sworn and committed to protect the wanna be queen Clinton.

Now we are at cross purposes here.

YOU want to take this conversation in a direction that will allow you to "take shots" at Fiorina.

I was replying to your comment about Trump "schooling" her on business in the next debate.

Running a business is about dealing with and managing people.

It is on a resume to show you have done that, and not to have a discourse on how to.

Fiorina and Trump along with several other candidates have experience in management and that is the thrust.

Your thinly veiled attempts at going after Forina are that, thinly veiled.

There will no debate for schooling anyone about business experience, and frankly I think Governors have the best feel for governmental management.

To me, most important is the handling of people. Our government is disabled because there is no leader who can see beyond politics and learn the art of compromise. For me, that is what can be learned from business.

Most important are the issues we face in this country and proposals to solve them.

In that regard, Trump has NO proposals and any debate between them is a no brainier.

Might change, but he comes out on the short end of that stick.

I recall you, in 2012, taking a differenc stance and a lesser view of Romney based on his business experience.

And yet, their ONLY defense regarding Billary, is "she's gonna be the next president, wooohooo." Instead of, she can do this or she has done that. You know, bragging of her many accomplishments. They can say NOTHING in defense of Billary, other than "but she is gonna win." Like that is a great achievement. If we bring up one of her disasters, they divert to how it is all a GOP fabrication, or it's all Bush's fault (still). Pathetic, and yet the blind will lead the blind to the election polls. To heck with what's good for the country, what will she do for them? If they really cared about the Democrat party, they would find a suitable candidate to run for president, instead of "the first woman to be elected." Hanzel and Gretel refused to vote for her and look what happened to them....she ate them. Oh, is that another story? I think her resemblance to the witch is uncanny. :MOJE_whot:

...and Farina is going to be the Republican nominee? No, the Republican National Committee would never allow that travesty to happen. It will be one of the "establishment" boys. Most likely, it will be Jeb Bush.

You may be right. Too bad, if so. But, life is not fair...and then we die. I have no problem with Bush, or any of the others, except Trump, but I think he is not relevant. He won't be a sideshow anymore, once things get going. Let the media spotlight him, ostracize him and crucify him. Then, he will kick back on his yacht, laughing as the Republican nominee sails smoothly toward the general election, unscathed by liberal media acid.
